Our Dextrin Carbs provide long-lasting energy recovery and raise your blood sugar level, which is released slowly into the bloodstream and ideal, fast-dissolving source of carbohydrates before, after, or between training sessions. They're handy to add to a shake to quickly get the fuel you need post-workout.
Carbohydrates help restore normal muscle function (contraction) after high-intensity and/or long-term physical training, which causes muscle fatigue and depletes skeletal muscle glycogen stores. This beneficial effect is achieved when the carbohydrate intake from all sources is a total of four grams per kilogram of body weight and is consumed within four hours and no more than six hours after high the intensity and/or prolonged physical exercise, which causes muscle fatigue and depletes skeletal muscle glycogen stores.
